About the Artist: Sharon Worley
I am a self taught artist. I studied studio art at Ohio State University and Columbus School of Art and Design. I have a Master's degree in Art History from Tufts University (1991) and a Ph.D. in Aesthetics-Humanities from the University of Texas at Dallas (2007). I am the former curator of the Cape Ann Historical Museum (1993-2000) in Gloucester, MA. My paintings are naïve and primitive interpretations of light and nature. I teach and exhibit in Houston, Texas at local colleges and galleries.
